Recipes for carrot pies, no doubt, will appeal to all the housewives who care about the health of their loved ones. And important is the fact that the filling of carrots can be both sweet and salty.

Pies with carrots and apples: an unusual recipe

Fragrant apples and sweet carrots are perfectly combined with each other and are the most common filling for pies.

For the test:

  • half a liter of warm water;
  • one hundred grams of sugar;
  • one hundred grams of yeast;
  • one hundred grams of vegetable oil (sunflower or olive);
  • two eggs;
  • one kilogram of flour.

For filling:

  • two carrots;
  • three apples;
  • one hundred grams of sugar;
  • a pinch of cinnamon (optional).

How to cook:

  1. Grate peeled apples and carrots with large cloves and caramelize them in a pan with sugar and cinnamon.
  2. From yeast, a tablespoon of flour, a tablespoon of sugar and a couple of spoons of warm water, prepare a dough, leave to approach.
  3. Beat eggs with a whisk, pour into a suitable dough, add oil and add flour in small portions. It should turn out a soft, lush dough, which must be left to approach in a place where there are no drafts for an hour.
  4. When the dough grows up, roll it out and cut out circles with a glass. Spread apples and carrots on a spoon, pinch the ends, grease the top with an egg whipped with a spoon of water and bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

The recipe for this test is suitable for baking in the oven, and for frying in a pan.

Pies with carrots, nuts and raisins: an oven recipe

According to this recipe, the pies are delicious and fragrant. Especially they will like small picks that turn their nose away from carrots.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • one pack of margarine;
  • one hundred grams of yeast;
  • three eggs;
  • a glass of milk;
  • four tablespoons of sour cream;
  • one hundred grams of sugar;
  • a kilogram of flour (you may need a little less or more).

Ingredients for the filling:

  • three carrots;
  • one hundred grams of raisins;
  • one hundred grams of peeled walnut kernels;
  • two to three tablespoons of sugar.

Cooking process:

  1. Grate the carrots, add sugar, a little water and simmer with the addition of butter until it becomes soft.
  2. Boil raisins for a couple of minutes in boiling water, drain the water, and dry the raisins with a paper towel.
  3. Fry the nuts in a dry pan and chop a little.
  4. Yeast diluted in warm milk should be allowed to grow.
  5. Grate margarine, knead with flour, add lightly beaten eggs with sugar, sour cream, yeast and knead the dough. Divide it into eight equal-sized koloboks and leave for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Roll out each part and divide into eight more parts.
  7. Mix nuts, raisins, carrots and sugar.
  8. Put the stuffing on each part, fold it with an envelope and leave it to grow.
  9. Lubricate the envelopes with egg white, sprinkle with a mixture of regular and vanilla sugar and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees until browned.

Instead of raisins, you can use dried apricots or prunes. If someone does not like walnuts, then you can replace them with cashews or hazelnuts.

Sweet carrot and pumpkin pies

These pies are doubly useful.

For the test:

  • two to three glasses of flour;
  • a glass of kefir;
  • half a teaspoon of soda.

For filling:

  • two hundred grams of pumpkin;
  • two carrots;
  • half a glass of sugar;
  • cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Cooking Algorithm:

  1. Grated carrots and pumpkin grated with large cloves caramelize with sugar and water until tender.
  2. From flour, kefir and soda, knead a light dough.
  3. Separate small pieces from the dough, form cakes from them, spread the filling and carefully fasten the edges of the dough so that the filling does not fall out.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and spread the pies into small portions, as they will increase in size.

These pies are tasty both hot and cold.

  • a kilogram and a half flour;
  • pack of yeast (25 g);
  • a glass of hot water;
  • a glass of sparkling water;
  • a glass of vegetable oil;
  • salt.

For the filling you will need:

  • three eggs;
  • three small carrots;
  • one onion;
  • spice.

Cooking process:

  1. Stew onions and carrots in butter. Boil eggs, cut into cubes, add to carrots with onions.
  2. Make yeast from yeast, a spoonful of flour and half a glass of warm water.
  3. Salt flour, pour dough and add hot (not boiling water) water. Then pour mineral water and gradually adding vegetable oil, knead the dough until it stops sticking to the hands and walls of the bowl. If necessary, you can add more oil. Leave the dough under the film for an hour or two.
  4. Roll out slices of dough the size of a nut, spread the filling and fasten the edges.
  5. Fry pies immediately in heated oil on both sides.

Such pies remain fresh and the next day, it is enough to heat them in the microwave.

Egg potato patties with carrots and mushrooms, oiled

These pies can pamper your family for dinner. They can also be served with soup or broth.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 5 medium sized potatoes;
  • 100 grams of margarine;
  • 50 milligrams of vegetable oil;
  • 1 egg
  • 150 milliliters of milk;
  • 70 grams of doges;
  • flour (approximately 300 g);
  • salt.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 5 carrots
  • 200 grams of dried mushrooms
  • 1 small onion.

Cooking method:

  1. Cook potatoes, leave half a glass of potato broth. Mashed potatoes, add margarine, vegetable oil and broth.
  2. Boil mushrooms, stew with onions and carrots until tender.
  3. In heated milk, dilute the yeast and let it grow.
  4. Add an egg to a warm potato mixture, pour in a dough of yeast and, adding flour, knead the dough, a little cooler than dumplings. Leave in a place where there are no drafts to grow up.
  5. From the grown dough, form small pies and leave for a few minutes to come up.
  6. Fry the pies in a large amount of oil, in which they should float until browning on both sides.

Thanks to the potato in the dough, the pies come out very airy.

Oiled pies can also be cooked in the oven. Pies according to this recipe remain fresh for a long time.

Puff pastry with carrots and chicken: a step by step recipe

Recipes for puff pastry pies are very popular due to the minimal time spent on their preparation. And they are very soft and tasty.

For cooking you will need:

  • finished puff pastry;
  • 500 grams of chicken meat;
  • 2 carrots;
  • spice.

How to cook:

  1. Boil chicken, cut into small pieces or cubes and fry with carrots in vegetable oil, adding spices.
