Pear "Krasulya" - an early summer variety from the selection of the South Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Vegetable and Potato. The author of the variety is E. A. Falkenberg, who received it as a result of crossbreeding Pearing and Little Joy pear varieties.
The plantings of this variety on the experimental fields of the GNU YuUNIIPOK in Chelyabinsk and in the conditions of home gardens of amateur gardeners in the territory of the Ural and West Siberian regions showed quite high efficiency.
Pear trees of the Krasulya cultivar are medium-sized and do not exceed four meters in height. The crown is of medium height and rounded. Shoots of medium size, straight, brown, with pubescence. The branches extend at an angle close to a straight line. The fruits ripen fully in the first decade of August.
Fruits of average weight 95-97 g, maximum weight is not more than 125 g. They are characterized by medium uniformity and a rounded shape. The skin is tender, smooth, oily, with gloss. Color at the stage of removable maturity is green with red.
At the stage of consumer maturity, the main color is greenish yellow, with a pronounced dark red hue. The appearance of the fruit is very attractive, which contributed to the variety getting this name. The flesh is creamy, friable, tender and semi-oily. The aroma and spice indices of ripe pulp are average.
How to grow a pear in the middle lane
It is recommended that the planting of the Krasulya pear in central Russia be carried out in the spring. For planting pear seedlings, you need to choose a well-lit, fairly dry and even area. It is advisable to plant several varieties that mature at the same time, which will increase the percentage of pollination and increase productivity.
The most suitable soil substrate for the active growth, development and fruiting of a fruit crop is considered to be loose, as well as permeable and well aerated soil with high fertility rates.
It is important to choose a site with the deepest level of groundwater occurrence, which is due to the peculiarities of the root system of the pear. When planting along the wall of a building or fences, it is necessary to deviate from the foundation base by at least 3 m.
The standard distance between planted plants should be about 5 m. The general rules for planting a pear are as follows:
- dig a landing hole measuring 70-80 cm, with a depth of at least 60-70 cm;
- put humus, sod and topsoil, as well as complex fertilizers in the dug hole;
- mix all the ingredients of the soil mixture and make a slight elevation in the center of the planting pit;
- place a pear seedling on a raised platform from the soil, and then gently straighten the root system as a “fan” (the root neck of a fruit seedling should not be deepened);
- the standard height above ground should be about 5-6 cm;
- the root system is sprinkled with a layer of fertile soil, which must be compacted in the trunk circle.
Around the seedling is recommended to make a small groove, which will facilitate and increase the effectiveness of irrigation activities. At the final stage of planting, plants are abundantly watered, tied to a support peg and mulching the soil in order to preserve moisture as efficiently as possible.
To provide the Krasuli pear with moisture and the necessary nutrition, it is recommended to keep the soil in near-stem strips under black steam. A good result is given by sowing in the aisles of any row crops or siderat plants.
Organic and mineral fertilizers are used for top dressing. For this purpose, weathered peat mixture, composts, humus or semi-overripe manure can be used. Organic fertilizers should be applied once every three years. Nitrogen-containing mineral fertilizers need to be fed plants annually in the spring, spending about 20-30 g of ammonium nitrate per square meter of garden plantings.
Trunk circles must be kept in a loose, as well as clean from weed state. Snow retention is necessarily included in a set of measures to care for young garden plantings, as well as work aimed at reducing the negative impact of meltwater runoff in the spring.

Reviews of summer residents
Very tender and reverently beloved by many gardeners of our country for the incredible attractiveness and high taste of fruits, the Krasulya variety has become relatively popular recently. The main advantage of pears of this variety is not only the presentation and excellent taste, but also unpretentiousness.
How to shape a crown of a pear
The minor flaws of the variety, according to gardeners, include the small size of the ripened fruit and the prickiness of the crown, which somewhat complicates the work with garden plantings.
